You may have noticed that I took a break from blogging the last month. I was temporarily derailed by some medical woes including a broken finger and eye surgery. I missed writing my updates! But now I’m back and I have some announcements:
First, I temporarily left then returned to Facebook. If you tried unsuccessfully to get to my Facebook author page during that time, I am posting there once again. Second, last summer I started an Online Book Club. We read a variety of genres and authors, so if you love reading, I invite you to join me HERE. We already have 152 members and some great monthly discussions.
Third, I have some writing updates. My plan for July is to work on my contest entry for the Idaho Writers Guild Writing Contest. Entries are due July 30th so I’m not completely confident I will have time to perfect my 10 required pages, but I’m going to try! I will keep you updated. After that, my goal for the remainder of 2021 is to finish the substantive edits to my upcoming novel The Ballad of Buddy. Stay tuned for more updates as I move forward on my rough draft.
