My 2024 Writing Year in Review

As this year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the wonderful journey we’ve shared. Your support, enthusiasm, and engagement have been the driving force behind every book, story, article, and post I’ve written.

In reflection, here are the goals I was able to meet in 2024:

Completed Projects

  • Completed writing my 4th novel. Bite of Love, an exciting new paranormal romance, is currently being edited with plans for a 2025 release!
  • Completed several new short stories

Award Nominations

  • My novel The Ballad of Buddy was an Indies Today Book Award Finalist

Publications

  • My article “Making the Bad Guy Good” was published in Slate & Style, the literary magazine for the National Federation of the Blind.

Interviews/Mentions

Website/Social Media

  • Maintained my author website, including frequent updates to “Lucky Lucy’s Sweepstakes for Literature Lovers”

Other

  • Organized a writers’ group for the Idaho chapter of the National Federation of the Blind
  • Attended numerous online writing and creativity workshops and conferences to continue learning developing my craft
